SLO CAMERA
Official Terms of Service & Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Policy Documentation
Part I: Terms and Conditions of Service
Effective Date: June 4, 2026
Welcome to Slo camera (the "App"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your legal access to and usage of the mobile application, integrated systems, software, interfaces, and fulfillment products operated by Slo camera ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, creating an account, capturing images, or submitting transaction requests within the App, you explicitly agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Platform Service & Photo Specifications
Slo camera provides a specialized in-app camera interface allowing users to capture photographs explicitly constrained to two (2) distinct format specifications and print sizes as dynamically provided in the App interface. We operate physical printing, rendering, formatting, and logistical fulfillment operations designed to ship these physical print deliverables to user-specified destinations worldwide.
2. Order Pipelines, Rates, and Financial Transactions
All print requests submitted via the Slo camera interface enter automated physical production lines immediately upon confirmation of successful tokenized payment. Prices for print packs, international shipping, and regional taxes are computed transparently at check-out. We leverage securely tokenized, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment infrastructure; Slo camera never stores or directly logs raw bank account or credit card credentials.
3. Production Timelines & Worldwide Delivery Terms
- Fulfillment Target: Physical photo print deliveries are systematically targeted to reach their final specified destination within 7 to 8 business days following the successful termination of the physical print production block.
- Worldwide Global Shipping: Slo camera maintains delivery networks across international boundaries. Because shipments cross international borders, they are subject to sovereign customs reviews, import documentation checks, and localized cargo bottlenecks. Any external customs clearances or localized import tariffs are the sole liability of the user.
- Address Precision Verification: The user assumes full responsibility for inputting a complete, accurately mapped physical shipping address. Slo camera accepts no liability for non-delivery, transit failures, or cascading delays resulting from inaccurate coordinates.
4. Intellectual Property & Limited License
You retain full copyright, title, and intellectual property ownership over any photographs captured or processed via the Slo camera platform. To facilitate your order, you grant Slo camera a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable license to process, cache, replicate, transmit, display locally, and physically output your images solely for order fulfillment, layout rendering, and targeted customer support.
5. Prohibited Platform Misuse
You strictly agree not to utilize the Slo camera interface to capture, generate, store, or print images that:
- Infringe upon third-party copyrights, trademark protections, or personal privacy elements.
- Contain explicitly obscene, pedophilic, defamatory, threatening, hateful, or racially/ethnically objectionable material, violating India's Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) or Information Technology Rules.
Slo camera reserves the absolute right to cancel any printing batch and summarily terminate user accounts without notice if uploaded media violates these standard behavior metrics.
Part II: Privacy and Data Retention Policy
Effective Date: June 4, 2026
Slo camera acts as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("Data Principals") by enforcing an optimal equilibrium between service availability and data minimization principles. This document outlines exactly how personal identifiers and digital imagery are handled, processed, stored, and systematically erased.
1. Data Items Collected and Purpose of Processing
Slo camera collects the minimum necessary digital personal data required to operate cross-border e-commerce operations. Under the principle of purpose limitation, data elements are processed across these vectors:
- Identity & Profile Elements: Full Name, Email Address, and Mobile Contact Number. Purpose: To register user accounts, verify identity, and broadcast tracking updates.
- Logistics & Shipping Data: Structured Physical Address, Postal/ZIP code, City, and Country. Purpose: To transmit physical print files to localized delivery couriers and clear international custom checkpoints inside the 7-8 business days turnaround.
- Image Content Data: Digital photographs captured within the two supported sizes through the Slo camera system. Purpose: To render templates, compile production sheets, and physically output your images onto print stock.
2. Photo Privacy & Structured Retention Architecture
In accordance with Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act, 2023, data items must not be retained past the completion of the target business purpose. Slo camera applies a strict, automated data hygiene cycle governed by the following timelines:
- Captured but Unused Images: Digital photos captured within the app that are not associated with a saved layout template or checkout cart are retained for a maximum of 90 days to ensure session recovery, after which they are completely scrubbed.
- Saved Layout Designs (No Order Placed): Photographs utilized inside a persistently saved user layout draft are maintained for up to 12 months to allow future check-outs.
- Completed Print Orders: Photographs that have successfully completed check-out, print production, and billing are maintained for up to 24 months following shipment. This extended window protects the user by enabling seamless re-orders, and resolving delivery disputes or print-quality appeals. Following this period, they are automatically and permanently purged from our storage arrays.
- Guest User Sessions: Image content processed by unauthenticated guest users is kept for an abbreviated timeline of 30 to 90 days.
Reset Parameter: If any image asset is proactively reused in an entirely new print configuration or supplementary checkout stream prior to its expiration date, its specific retention countdown resets from that event forward.
3. Rights of the Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you maintain comprehensive legal authority over your data. You may execute these rights through our compliance desk:
- Right to Summary & Access: Request a complete summary of personal metrics currently processed by Slo camera and see the list of third-party logistics handlers executing delivery.
- Right to Correction & Deletion: Correct typo entries in your physical shipping records or order immediate premature erasure of your account drafts and associated photographs.
- Right to Consent Withdrawal: You may retract your permission settings at any moment. Note that withdrawing address tracking privileges while an order is in active dispatch will disrupt fulfillment.
4. Children's Data Governance
Slo camera does not knowingly process digital personal data from individuals under 18 years of age without verifiable parental or guardian consent. We completely bar tracking user behaviors or pushing targeted ads toward minors inside our platform ecosystem in accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act.
5. Data Breach Notification & Framework Safeguards
We maintain full technical safeguards, including end-to-end transport encryption, isolated cloud database instances, and rigid role-based processing privileges. In the unforeseen event of a data breach, Slo camera will immediately issue clear statutory notifications to the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) and all affected Data Principals.
6. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
To exercise your statutory rights, request manual data scrubbing, or register a data dispute, contact our designated official directly:
Grievance Officer: Noel Chandapilla Mathew
